These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the MAVTRAX application and website at mavtrax.com (the "Service"), operated by Theory Road LLC ("MAVTRAX," "we," "us"). By creating an account, starting a free trial, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
MAVTRAX is a coaching tool that lets a coach send prerecorded pitch calls to a catcher's wireless audio device. It is an aid for communication and does not guarantee any athletic outcome, safety result, or competitive advantage. You are responsible for using the Service in compliance with the rules of your league, association, or governing body.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and subscribe. The Service is intended for use by coaches and other adults, not by children.
3. Subscriptions, Free Trial & Billing
- Free trial. New subscriptions begin with a 14-day free trial. We collect a payment method at signup; you are not charged during the trial.
- Auto-renewal. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription automatically begins and your payment method is charged the then-current price (currently $4.99/month or $49.99/year). Subscriptions automatically renew each billing period (monthly or annually) until you cancel.
- Cancellation. You may cancel anytime from Account → Manage billing in the app, or by emailing hello@mavtrax.com. Cancellation stops future renewals; your access continues until the end of the paid period.
- Price changes. We may change prices with notice; changes apply to the next billing period. Existing subscribers may be grandfathered at our discretion.
- Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store full card numbers. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including reselling access, reverse-engineering, interfering with operation, or using it unlawfully or in violation of your league's rules.
5. Intellectual property
The Service, including software, audio, and branding, is owned by Theory Road LLC and its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-transferable license to use the Service while your subscription is active.
6. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We do not warrant that audio will transmit without delay or interruption, that Bluetooth or network connections will be reliable, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. You assume all risk of use during games and practices.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Theory Road LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
8. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date; continued use means acceptance.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas.
